For most of my legal career I have concentrated my practice in estate and trust planning and administration, related real estate and taxation. Ten years ago, in looking to expand my practice area, I began working with families with disabled family members by doing special needs trusts. At the time, I felt the need to give back, having grown up with a brother with developmental disabilities and having a step-daughter with down syndrome. During this time, I have learned that my special “superpower” is to engage with my clients and listen. I have found that by asking questions and listening carefully to my clients’ responses, I am able to provide them with the peace of mind that they have the best plans in place for the future of their loved ones.

Today, I continue to support seniors and their families with elder care, long term care planning, and Medicaid planning strategies.  I’ve found that working with seniors and special needs families is particularly rewarding.

Having spent 25 years living and working on the eastern shore, my husband and I moved to Annapolis 5 years ago with our four legged “children” enjoying all that this area has to offer.

Prior to joining Frame and Frame, I worked as in-house counsel with First Maryland Disability Trust in Lutherville and I am very happy to be working again in Anne Arundel County and the eastern shore.
