FRAME & FRAME GIVES BACK TO OUR COMMUNITIES

For over 65 years, Frame & Frame has carried on a tradition of giving back to our community in meaningful ways. As a member of Thrive! Arundel, Tara Frame and her fellow members participate in quarterly initiatives to give back to the communities in which we live and work. We have assisted by volunteering hours, time, and resources to many local organizations. Here are some of the recent organizations we have helped.

Natl Ovarian Cancer Society

Maryland Family Attorney Frame and Frame Volunteering Natl Ovarian Cancer Society

Tara Frame and her fellow Thrive! Arundel members did not let Covid-19 or the rainy weather) deter our efforts to support the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition of Central Maryland! We raised over $7000 for the 2020 initiative and enjoyed celebrating two of our own members who have been impacted by this disease.

Senior Prom @ Future Care

Tara Frame and her fellow Thrive! Arundel members threw a prom for the seniors at FutureCare of the Chesapeake. Two members recently had family members at the facility and thought this would be a great idea! Generational music, “wheelchair dancing,” make-up application for the ladies, corsages, food and more were provided. “I’ve never seen them so happy,” commented a staff member.

Annapolis Film Festival

Thrive! Arundel members were responsible for running the VIP Filmmakers Lounge during all four days of the Annapolis Film Festival. This was a huge time commitment, but the members stepped up! The festival brings millions of dollars in revenue to the City of Annapolis along with some well-known film makers, producers and actors.

The Red Devils

Thrive! Arundel hosted a fundraiser for The Red Devils at The Greene Turtle in Annapolis, MD. 10% of the day’s proceeds were donated to the organization.

The Wellness House

Thrive! Members donated their time to washing the entrance fence to prepare for the fairy garden, being constructed by one of the children associated with The Wellness House. Several members also helped set up and decorate for the annual picnic. The Wellness House of Annapolis provides free services and programs to those who have been touched by cancer.
